Victoria Falls, Chamabonda National Park, Zimbabwe.
The Victoria Falls were named after Queen Victoria by the first European to see them in 1855, David Livingstone. Today, the falls are referred to by that name, as well as by that which was given to them by the Kololo tribe that lived in the area at a similar time "Mosi-oa-Tunya" this translates as "the Smoke that Thunders". They may not be the highest or widest in the world but they are in fact the largest. The vast beauty of the Chamabonda National Park is captivating and your stay in the Masuwe Sanctuary is a dream safari destination that combines bush and wildlife with the Zambezi River.
